Last updated: 15.11.2025
At Spayo, we are committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for all users. While we do not review or monitor user-uploaded images, we take reports of abuse, rights violations, or illegal activity extremely seriously. This page explains how to report abuse, what types of misuse are prohibited, and how we handle such reports.
1. What Counts as Abuse?
You should file an abuse report if you believe a user has uploaded or generated content through Spayo that involves:
► Illegal activity
- Harassment, threats, or defamation
- Violence or harmful behavior
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance
- Terrorism or extremist content
- Fraud, scams, or impersonation
► Intellectual property violations
- Copyright infringement
- Unauthorized use of logos, trademarks, or private photos
- Uploading images the user does not own the rights to
► Privacy violations
- Uploading someone else’s face without permission
- Doxxing, surveillance images, or private locations
- Attempting to identify individuals through AI processing
► Misuse of AI-generated content
- Deepfakes
- Harmful or deceptive alterations
- Non-consensual image generation
If you are unsure whether something qualifies, you may still submit a report — our team will review it.
2. What Spayo Can and Cannot See
To protect user privacy, we operate under a no human access principle:
We cannot see:
- User-uploaded original images
- Generated designs unless the user saved them in their Gallery
- Any personal data inside images
We can only access:
- Images saved to the user’s Gallery (stored in Supabase)
- Minimal account data (email, language preference, subscription status)
- Technical logs required for system security (not related to image content)
We do not monitor or inspect user content proactively.
Because of this, we rely on user and public reports to detect violations.
3. How to Report Abuse
If you believe content violates our policies or any applicable laws, please contact us:
Your report should include:
- A clear description of the issue
- Screenshots or direct links (if available)
- The email of the offending account (if known)
- Date/time when you discovered the issue
- Why you believe the content violates the rules or law
We keep all reports confidential.
4. What Happens After You Submit a Report
When we receive an abuse report, we follow this process:
- Confirm receipt (automatically or manually)
- Conduct a preliminary assessment
- Request more information, if needed
- Temporarily disable content (if necessary)
- Conduct a full review under:
- Terms of Service
- Acceptable Use Policy
- AI Safety & Content Safety Policy
- Local applicable laws
- Take appropriate action, which may include:
- Removing content stored in the user’s Gallery
- Warning the user
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
- Blocking access from specific devices or locations
- Cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement when legally required
We aim to respond to all abuse submissions within 24–48 hours.
5. Emergency Situations (Violence, CSAM, Threats)
For extremely serious or time-sensitive reports — especially those involving violence or child safety — we immediately:
- Suspend the account
- Restrict content access
- Notify relevant authorities (where required by law)
- Preserve technical logs needed for investigation
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
All confirmed cases result in immediate reporting and permanent account termination.
6. How We Handle Law Enforcement Requests
If law enforcement contacts us, we follow strict procedures:
- We require a valid legal request (court order, warrant, or equivalent).
- We only provide information we actually possess (we cannot provide data we do not store, such as original images).
- We notify the affected user unless legally prohibited.
- We do not provide content access beyond what is necessary.

7. False or Malicious Reports
Submitting fraudulent or malicious abuse reports is itself a violation of our Terms of Service and may lead to:
- Account termination
- IP/device banning
- Legal action where applicable
We encourage responsible reporting.
